Days of Nelson Fry's Cocoa & Chocolate In the victory of St Vincent on February 14th 1797, Rear-Admiral Nelson boarded successively the Spanish line of battleships, the "San Nicolas" and the "San Josef". The sword of the Spanish Admiral was handed to Nelson by the commandant of the "San Josef", the admiral himself being too dangerously wounded to appear.
