Toulouse-Blangnac,France: A general view taken March 4th of the assembly line of the prototype 001 Concorde Franco-British supersonic passenger airline now under construction at the Sud aviation plant. Concorde 001has been elevated to just over 19 feet from 11 feet to allow installation of the nose wheel and other undercarriage sections. Prototype 002 currently under construction at The British Aircraft Corporation Plant at Filton, England, is expected to take the air next Autumn. Concorde is scheduled for service in 1971. 7th March 1967.
