CONVICTS BOUND FOR DEVILS ISLAND WHO MUTINIED ABOARD FRENCH ''HORROR SHIP'' It is reported that convicts on the way to Devil's Island, the penal colony in Guiland, aboard the French ''Horror Ship'' La Martiniere. The mutiny is admitted by the authorities who deny that forty were killed. La Martiniere sailed from St. Martin De Re, France, with 250 men in her stern cages, amoung them were murderers, bandits and other criminals. photo taken when La Martiniere sailed 8th December 1933
