15th January 1957 - Mrs Brenda Hughes of Brixham, Devon, the fourth witness to give evidence today in the hearing of the murder charge against Dr John Bodkin Adams, leaves the court. As Sister Bartlett before her marriage, Mrs Hughes nursed Mrs Edith Alice Morrell 81 for six weeks. Dr Adams an Eastbourne doctor is accused of killing Mrs Morrell in November 1950.
