Baronet and wife summonsed at Croydon for alleged evasion of customs duties. Summonses were heard at Croydon Police Court against Sir Robert and Lady Diana Abdy , of Newton Ferrers, Callington, Cornwall. They arise out of an alleged attempted evasion of customs duties on articles recently imported at Croydon airport. Sir Robert, who is 41, is well known in art circles in Paris and London. Before the marriage in 1930, Lady Diana Abdy, was Lady Diana Bridgeman, eldest daughter of the Earl and Countess of Bradford. She was the youngest bridesmaid at the wedding of Princess Mary.
