2000 Navy League Sea Cadets massed in Trafalgar Square for a drumhead service conducted by the Dean of Westminster, the Right Reverend Bishop Paul de Labilliere. A march past followed, the salute being n taken by Admiral Sir Edward Evans (Evans of the Broke). The service, organised by the Navy League, was for Commemoration and Thanksgiving in connection with Trafalgar Day.
