Parking rules in Paris-white lines experiment on the famous Champ Elysees. An experiment which is hoped will help in solving the difficult problem of parking space in the busy Champs Elysees is being tried by Paris police. Between the Rondpoint and the Rue du Colisee for parallel wire lines have been painted in the middle of the broad avenue. The space between these lines is reserved for the parking of private cars. Taxis are allowed to park alongside the curves. The Paris police are watching the experiment closely, as up to now it has proved very difficult to find parking spaces on the Champs Elysees.
