Reims Cathedral consecrated after restoration, partly destroyed during the war. After 20 years of unremitting labour, the famous Reims Cathedral, France., Which was almost destroyed during the great Wall, is now completely restored, and was consecrated with impressive rights by Cardinal Suhard, Archbishop of Reims. A curious feature of the ceremony was the fact that it was the first time that the Cathedral had been consecrated, due to circumstances only vaguely chronicled. Nevertheless, 34, Kings of France, were crowned within is agent walls. Photo shows, a general view during the High Mass. 19 October 1937
