German girls show RAF apprentices a new way to keep fit. A team of German girls, the 'Rhoenrads', who have been appearing in London, invaded the RAF station at Cranwell, at the invitation of the Wing Commander JR Cassidy to give a demonstration of the novel means of improving physical fitness to the apprentices at the centre. The girls perform ongyro wheels, which are used to teach balance in all sorts of positions.
