Lance Cpl hero of North West Frontier battle enters hospital in England. Decorated for gallantry during the campaign on the North West Frontier against the Fakir of Ipi, Lance Cpl Peter Anderson,M M of 2 battlelion the Argyll and Sutherland Highlander is is now in the Royal Victoria Hospital, Netley, Hampshire, having been taken there immediately on his arrival at Southampton aboard the troopship 'Lancashire'. Lance Cpl Anderson was shot in the foot while in action with his battlalion. Although in great pain. He continued to control his section while lying on the ground, and the action, as far as he was concerned was successful.
