Miss Barbara Mary (Miki) Hood, 22-year-old film actress and photographic model, went to the law courts for the resumed hearing of her action against WH Smiths and Son Ltd. Misheard alleges that the defendants published a libel on her by distributing the 'Paris Magazine'for March 1936, which contained her photograph. She also claims, damages, alleging infringement of copyright in the photograph. The magazine has been described in court as 'filthy and obscene'.
