Unknown to her friends, Josephine Baker, the famous dancer, was married quietly at crevecoeur le Grand in the Department of the Oise to M Jean Lion, a young French businessman and aviator. The Mayor of Crevecoeur performed the ceremony and M Derval, director of the Folies Bergere was a witness. Miss Baker is coming to London in a few days time.
