The centre column reads 'Support the Government! Obey the Leader! Resist the Bitter End!. The left hand column reads 'No compromise, even if we have only one man and one bullet left!. The column on the right reads 'Don't hesitate to go to the front!. Those who remain in the rear have their duty to maintain peace and order behind the lines!'. 12 January 1938
