Soviets first Parliament has first session in Moscow. The two chambers of the first Soviet Parliament, recently elected under the new Constitution, met for the first time in joint session as the Supreme Council in the Kremlin Palace, Moscow. M Molotov the Premier, was cheered for three minutes when he declared that the Soviet intended to build capital ships, and other Government leaders were also enthusiastically received by the 1,143 deputies, who came from every corner of the vast Soviet territories.
