Punch that won't pinch.. New Clipper for underground collectors. In answer to passengers complaints that their fingers had been nipped when the collector was punching their ticket, engineers of the London Transport Board have devised a new non-pinching punch. With the new punch it is impossible for the passengers finger to be caught. In addition, as an antilitter device, the punch incorporate a magazine into which the ticket clippings fall. The non-pincher is to be examined by the main line railway companies. Photo shows, the new non-pinching ticket punched being used at St James's Park Underground Station.
