For the sum of sixpence, the 1st Coleshill , troop of Girl Guides have bought an ancient Windmill at Coleshill, Buckinghamshire, for use as their headquarters. Now they are busy converting the dusty rooms, which still have parts of the old machinery, into comfortable quarters where they can take all their Guide courses. The mill was bought by Miss F Eliot Howard, leader of the troop, from her father. Photo shows, the old windmill, with its dilapidated sale at Coleshill, Buckinghamshire, as members of the Guide, troop were cleaning it the use as their headquarters. 22 Janary 1938
