Clouston's ready for New Zealand record attempt, playing christened at Croydon by Lady Weigall from Bath Chair at Croydon. The 220 mile an hour Comet Plane in which flying Ofc, A E. Clouston is to make his New Zealand and back record attempt, was christened at Croydon aerodrome by Lady Weigall, who named it 'Australian Anniversary'. Mr SM Bruce, the Australian High Commissioner, was present at the ceremony. Clouston hopes to accomplish the record journey in nine days. The flight is to start next Monday.
