German aircrew welcomed home after record-breaking Atlantic flight. The German airliner 'Brandenburg' which had flown from Berlin to New York in 24 hours 56 minutes, landed at Tempelhof Aerodrome, Berlin, after they return flight of 19 hours 54 minutes. This was the fastest flight from New York to Berlin and easily beat the record set up by the round the world flyer Wiley Post in 1933, of 24 hours 45 minutes. The crew of the machine, Captain Henke, Captain von Moreau, Radio Operator Kober and Mechanic Dierberg, were given a tremendous welcome home, and were received at the Air Ministry by General Milch, field Marshal Goerin's right-hand man.
