Hungarian Countess of 22, maybe bride of King Zog. It is reported that Countess Geraldine Apponyi, the 22-year-old granddaughter of Count Louis Apponyi, Court Marshal to the Emperor Frances Joseph, is to marry King Zog of Albania. She is stated to have gone to Italy from Budapest and is proceeding to Albania for a visit of about a fortnight. Countess Geraldine is said to have met King Zog in Italy. She has recently been working in the National Museum at Budapest for a small salary. Photo shows, a picture just received in London of the Countess Geraldine Apponyi when she appeared as 'Mimi' in an amateur production of 'La Boheme' in Budapest. 29 January 1938
