Original caption: Dodge Heir dies of honeymoon explosion. Tortured by pain after a dynamite explosion, Daniel George Dodge, 21-year-old motorcar heir, leapt to death from a boat which was taking him to hospital at little Current, Ontario . Piloting the boat was his bride of two weeks, the former Laurine (Lorraine) MacDonald, also injured in the explosion. Friends with the couple said that Dodge was hurt as he whittled the dynamite, not knowing what it was. He leapt from the boat into 90 feet of water in Georgian Bay.
