Swift measures have been taken by the British Admiralty owing to the Sudeten-German-Czech crisis which is expected to reach a climax this weekend. Although most of the home fleet is concentrated at Invergordon, submarine flotillas are standing by Portland and the First Minesweeping Flotilla is being brought up to full complement while four minelaying destroyers are to be placed in full commission from reserve.
