The "ordinary listener" has its place at Radiolympia in the person of Mr W. Glendinning, the "man who listens for his living". Mr Glendinning is employed by the General Electric Company and spends all his working time in a drawing room listening to radio sets turned out by the factory he has to listen and report on the sets from the point of view the ordinary listener Mr Glendinning five years to train. 30 August 1937
