Alf Hardy, aged 17, carrying 18 baskets on his head and one in each hand at Borough Market. Alf, a junior porter at the market, is out to win the first prize of 瞿20 presented by Charlie Chaplin to the winner of All-England half-bushel basket championship of the Borough Market Athletic Association's sports at Herne Hill on September 9.
