The Russian trans-polar airmen, flying the giant plane ANT 25, are within sight of their goal, San Francisco, after flying non-stop from Moscow across the North Pole. They flew over British Columbia and a flying down the Pacific coast of the states to San Francisco. For over 30 hours the polar pioneers have been facing the perils of blind flying, bad weather, and ice coated wings. Photo shows, the transpolar plane ANT 25 in-flight. 20- June 1937
