Major "Fruity" Metcalfe and Lady Alexandra Metcalfe arrived at Ch漮eau de Cand?for Duke of Windsor's wedding. Major E. D. (Fruity) Metcalfe, who is to be best man, and Lady Alexandra Metcalfe, his wife, were the first guest to arrive at the Ch漮eau de Cand? near Tours, for the wedding tomorrow (Thursday) of the Duke of Windsor and Mrs Wallis Warfield (Simpson). Carrying packages of wedding gifts (on right ?) is George Ladbroke, chauffeur to the Duke of Windsor for 18 years, was invited to attend the wedding from London.
