Although scheduled to march from Wellington Barracks to the city, the Rhodesian contingent for the Coronation altered their program and entrained at St James' Park underground station and went by train. They were shown around the Guildhall and afterwards entertained at Mansion House by the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress.
