Soviet Army autumn manoeuvres as war chief warns potential enemies. With their leaders thundering counter warnings across the continent of Europe, troops of the Soviet Army are on the march in the Ukraine, where they are carrying out the autumn manoeuvres. Aeroplanes and tanks are cooperating in the exercises. In a speech made at Kiev, Voroshilov, Soviet Commissar for Defence, where has been attending the manoeuvres, issued a warning in which he declared: "if anybody attempts to attack our country we will take up arms.
