Chief Scout daughter has village wedding . Miss Betty St Claire Baden Powell , youngest daughter of Lord Baden Powell , was married in the old village church of Bently , Hampshire , to Mr Gervas Charles Roberts Clay , district officer in the Administration service of Northern Rhodesia . Mr Clay the elder son of Mr and Mrs Gerard Arden Clay of Albury , Surrey . The bride is 19 years of age . Bridegroom first met his bride last May in the liner in which she was returning to England with her parents and sister . 16 members of the Westminster Abbey choir who belonged to the Boy Scout movement sang at the wedding service .
