Britain's first civilian anti-gas school trained instructors to combat gas menace , 1000 already passed . Established the supply Britain with a corps of anti-gas instructors , the first Civilian Anti Gas school opened by the government at Eastwood Park , Falfieds , Gloucestershire , is in full swing . Already nearly 1000 instructors , drawn from government departments , local and public services and first aid societies , have been passed through the school . Those men and women , trained to combat the gas menace , will in turn take over the anti-gas instruction of members of their separate organisations .
