A complete revision of dress is being carried out by the Post Office in an effort to make messenger boys even smarter for the Coronation year. A new summer uniform in lighter material is being provided, complete with new type leggings and pouch. Shoes are to replace boats. But although they will now wear a collar and tie, open necked shirt is forbidden.
