An earth embankment 30 yards high in 500 yards long on Tublitzer Moor was blown up to make way for the West Tangent of the system of new motor roads which is to encircle Berlin, branching off into highways to all parts of the country. Photo shows: Earth spouting high into the air as the embankment was blown up. 2 April 1937
