Field Marshal von Blomberg , the German Minister of War , took the salute at a great parade in Potsdam in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the death of Frederik the Great . The veteran Field Marshal von Mackensen , who wore Hussar uniform and General von Fritsch , Commander in Chief of the army , were also present . The entire 23rd Division took part in the parade , which was the biggest military display Potsdam has seen since the war .
