Oklahoma Has A Portable Gaol ! " Escapeless " Transport Used To Take Back A Fugitive . When James C . Myles , aged 34 , who was serving a sentance for forgery in Oklahoma State Penitentiary broke out of gaol and was arrested in Pittsburgh . Alex Watson , an official of the Penitentiary , drove to Pittsburgh in his portable prison to pick up the fugitive . The gaol was made by ripping the cover from the dickey seat of a car and screwing down a steel cage in the space usually used for luggage . Photo shows : Alex Watson locking James C .
