Imperial Airways pilots who next year are to open the trans Atlantic air serice , paid a tribute to the RMS Majestic , the giant liner which , after the next crossing , is to be withdrawn from the service , when she arrived at Southampton from America . the pilots were carrying out one of their first training flights over Southamptons water and flew over the liner as she neared Southampton .
