Scotland Yard ' s new radio station , which will enable the police to place a wireless net over a radius of 40 to 50 miles of London , is nearing completion at Grove Park , Denmark Hill . Machines which record morse code in print , a voice frequency panel connected with Scotland Yard by landline , and short wave radio rceivers , have been installed . The ne station is also to play a leading part in the Home Office scheme for regional police radio stations .
