Within four days of the last stitch having been put into a sports coat tailored in London , Victor McLaglen , the film actor , was wearing the coat in Los Angeles . The coat was flown from London to Friedrichshafen , Germany , by air liners , and was then taken to Lakehurst , New Jersey , on the Airship Hindenburg .
