Annette and Marie , however , forestalled their sisters , for they took over the store entirely , arranging and rearranging the goods to their own satisfaction . But later , with the true philosophy of childhood , the Quins took it in turn to be customer and shop keeper , extracting the last atom of fun from their transactions until it was time for bed .
