Lord Sempill leaves Hanworth on six day Australia and back attempt . Pioting a 200 mile an hour hour 18 seater Monospar plane , Lord Sempill , accompanied by a crew of three , left Hanworth Aerodrome on his second attempt to fly from England to Australia and back in six days . He hopes to cover the 12 , 000 miles to Melbourne in the record time of 70 flying hours . The first flight , which commenced earlier this month , was abandoned at Vienna owing to a defect in the auxiliery petrol supply .
