Out of the Easter Eggs ! . Whipsnade has five new Emu chicks , Five splendid emu chicks have been hatched with an incubator at Whipsnade Zoo from a clutch of 15 eggs . The eggs were laid by Juliette , but ten of the fifteen failed to produce anything . The five babies who did appear , however are now two days old and doing well . Whipsnade has so far had better luck than London Zoo , who are still waiting for Matthew , one of their emu ' s to hatch seven eggs . His babies are five days overdue .
