With hundreds of armed policemen standing in a ring around the courthouse of the little town of Aix en Provence , near Marseilles , three men are on trial for complicity in the murder of King Alexander of Jugoslavia and M Barthou , the French Foreign Minister ,last year . The men are Zenimir Pospichil , aged 30 , Mio Kralj , aged 30 and Yvan Rajtitch , aged 27 . It is allegedthat the three men belong to a Balkan secret society called the Gustachis , and the French police have been warned that an attempt may be made to kill them before the verdict is reached .
