12 year old Laurie Lane and his 13 year old friend stage their own revue in London . Laurie Lane , the 12 year old son of Lupino Lane and his schoolfriend , Hughie Green , aged 13 , staged their revue ' come, come ' at the Rudolf Steiner Hall , London , in aid of the Royal Northern Hospital . The two boys wrote the revue themselves and engaged children of their own age to play the principal parts . All the staging , producing and directing was done themselves .
