Mr Vivian Arthur Sharp , headmaster of Grove Park School , Kingsbury , elder son of the Ven Arthur Sharp , of St Stephen ' s Vicarage , Hampstead and Miss Violet Elizabeth Johnson , daughter of Sir Arthur and Lady Johnson , of Maresfield Gardens , N W , Sir Arthur was Town Clerk of Hampstead for 38 years until his retirement in 1931 , and he was president for seven years of the National Association of Local Government Officers .
