Warwick Deeping dies . A stock picture of author Warwick Deeping , who died at his home at Weybridge , Surrey . He was 73 . His books " Sorrell and Son " , " Roper 's Row " " Oly Pybus " and many others , are known and translated all over the world . He was born in Southend , Essex , and he practised as a doctor for a year . He was also an enthusiastic gardener , and spent much time in the garden of his beautiful home at Weybridge , where this picture was taken . 5 September 1932
