Easter holiday crowds thronged the Brooklands track , Surrey , in their thousands to watch the racing in the opening meeting of the year on the track , Easter Monday . Sir Malcolm Campbell with his Bluebird in which he established the world record , Kaye Don in his Tiger II , and Sir Henry Birkin were among the attractions .
