The Supreme Court of France has just decided that the " joy stick " , the device which controls the wings and rudder of an aeroplane , is a patent device , the property of M Esnault Pelterie . It is stated that the French Government , jointly with M Caudron , the noted aeroplane manufacturer , have been ordered to pay the inventor thirty thousand pounds . 31 December 1925
