A silver Kiddush cup; partly gilded; with an illegible Hebrew inscription at its foot. Meals at Sabbath and on holidays begin with a blessing over the Kiddush cup. Made probably in Germany it was traditionally thought to have belonged to the famous Prague rabbi Jehuda Loew ben Bezalel; the creator of the Golem. Country of Origin: Czech Republic.
