At her feet are a pastoral crook (pedum); seven-reed flute (syrinx); thyrsus (staff); cercle sans fond; and rattle-drum (tympanum) painted with a cistrum (rattle). Handcoloured lithograph by A. This rare volume is a catalog of the collection of erotic paintings; bronzes and statues excavated in Pompeii and Herculaneum and stored in a Secret Cabinet at Naples.
