Federico da Montefeltro; (1422-1482); condottieri of the Italian Renaissance; and Duke of Urbino from 1444; with his son Guidobaldo. He wears a brocade cape over a suit of steel armour and gold chainmail; with his helmet at his feet. His son wears a simar of brocade and ermine; and holds a gold sceptre. From a painting by Pedro Berruguete (mistakenly ascribed to Andrea Mantegna by Bonnard).
