During the seven-year plan period the output of the machine building and metal working industries will double in the Ukraine. There will be a sharp increase in the production of machine lathes, rolling mills, steam turbines, large turbogenerators, etc; the output of chemical equipment and of the electrical engineering industry will increase threefold.
