The Soviet 'EI-S' (Special electro integrator) electronic computer, the first of its kind in the world, can be used in determining the most rational methods of exploiting big oil fields with up to 750 wells. The machine not only provides data on current operation of the field, but can also determine the changes that will occur in the oil boaring strata in the next five or six years.
